Friday NOT WEDNESDAY. Character Morning Tea with Grade 4 Buddies.  Please see last week's blog or the blue communication book for ideas. I need the children to decide on their a. character b. food contribution, with you by Monday.


Love your Lungs: Very fun, mini triathlon is on Tuesday. Please send your child in PE clothes with a swimsuit, goggles, towel etc and trainers. Sunscreen is also required.    I'll make a little video, for those unable to attend. However, feel free to join us at 9.15 in the playground if you are around. 

We're going to start a brief MONEY unit in maths this week. Feel free to introduce the concept of counting Singaporean coins and giving change at home.

We love visitors. Sami's grandmother is the 3rd Grandmother to join us for library time.

At the beginning of every month we use some of our maths lesson to explore the calendar. This can help us with counting, and also helps us become closer as a class.

Ask your child about the important dates for our class in May.

We've been considering the change of the environment outside our classroom window. Ask your child how Singapore has changed. What impact does this have for animals?

Ask your child what has happened to our beach.

Ask them what happens when one animal in a food chain disappears.

Ask your child what they think is a recipe for a good story.

Can they tell you the story they are writing right now?

Can they describe the characters using the '5 traits rule'
