Please sign up for Parent Conferences on the 9th as advised in an email sent directly from admin to you this week. This day is an important event in the school calendar.
On Thursday we will visit a hospital. There we will have our lunch in the gardens. Please send a suitable lunch to eat out of the classroom.

This week...
The children have been using THINK Marks to focus their reading. You might find them using these at home now too. ( Children might ask for post it notes by their side whilst they read)
Maths probability: The children have been using the terms
"Likely, unlikely, certain , impossible" . It would be great if you could use these words at home too.
Some examples:
- You will brush your teeth
- You will go to space
- Your grandparents will go to space
- You will go to bed without being asked
- You will learn a new skill
- You will turn in to a dinosaur overnight
- All your teeth will fall out this week.
- You will go to Happy Lodge again
This week the children have been exploring poetic language. Can you find any more onomatopoeia at home?
Ask your child to share their poetry learning from the week.
Ask your child What is in the pot which Michelle is holding?
Ask your child what names they have added to the pot this week, and why.
Ask your child how they felt when Mr Wilcox visited the class to begin Mindfulness awareness.
Ask your child in what situations they might use the strategies they started to investigate. ( Mr Wilcox will be back each Thursday)
Ask your child how they used the Junior school art room this week.
What new experiences did they have?
