Week 5... already !

Most children have brought in their ART shirts. 

We have a few more sign ups for Kids Up Front.  We looking forward to our first one next Friday with Sami and his grandmother.

We have been learning about our community...

As part of the UWC Infant community G 1 have responsibilities. This week we were responsible for the Infant Assembly.

Ask your child which role they took in assembly.

Haze brought us inside at break times this week... it wasn't all bad !

Ask your child what they enjoyed playing in the Infant Hall during hazy lunchtime.

Haze forced us to postpose our Forest Adventure until 5th November. Instead we spent the afternoon doing team building activities.

Ask your child what they think it takes to make a good team member.

Did they feel that they were persistent when they found the tasks tricky?

This week we introduced writing partners. Ask your child why a writing partner is helpful.

 We built communities. This gave Miss N and Miss Sathia a chance to see if we really understand what makes a good community. Ask your child if they can tell you the WANTS and NEEDS of the community which they built. How did they feel when they had to plan and discuss and work as a team?
