We began the week by finding out what adventures we all had over the holidays. Here we are doing a scavenger hunt. Some people even sent photos and videos, and others made books using creator. These can be found on the IN CLASS PAGE of this blog.

Ask your child what they have been learning in Maths this week?
One group have  been making sets . Ask them , do all numbers divide easily into even sets.
Or
Have they been learning a new subtraction strategy in which, instead of counting back, you count forward.  Here's a video for parents who might be interested ...

Most Expert books have been expertly completed and publish ! Once we've shared these with our Buddy class we can send them home for you to read.

Our UNIT OF STUDY topic was left as a mystery whilst we studied the clues.

We have started experimenting with individual BLOGS. These are currently 'IN HOUSE' and will be shared privately with you at the end of the year. Ask your child what they uploaded to their blog. Ask your child what photography technique they are being taught in this photo.

MEMORY BOOKS for Happy Lodge are slowly but surely being finished. I'll email you the book which your child created as they finish.

When you receive it ask your child
... about the app BOOK CREATOR
... how they drew stories out of the elderly
... what they are most proud of.
Please remember these are 6&7 year olds and their interview skills, use of technology and ability to interact with an elderly was fantastic !
