We look forward to seeing you at the ARTS festival performance 4th Feb in the Auditorium from 9-10 , then to the pod to look at art work and say congratulations to your child. Unfortunately, I have to dash off to a 2 day course but Sathia will be there to greet you.

No swimming on Tuesday as we have an ARTS FESTIVAL rehearsal.

Friday 5th . Swimming. Children are allowed to bring in one NAMED water toy if they wish to.

Friday 5th, to celebrate the end of Asian Arts and Culture week children may wear red, white and blue, the colours of the Cambodian flag. Or represent Cambodia in some way.

We would love you to consider hosting Savaira, our boarding buddy from Fiji, for some of the CNY holiday. Even for a day out. Savaira is very eager to learn to ride a bike.

Please ask your child what they need to wear, on their bottom half, on Arts Festival day. Each group has chosen between jeans or black trousers/leggings. Dress rehearsal is on Wednesday.

What you see on stage is a product of a very creative process. Ask your child what they have been doing to work towards the ARTS FESTIVAL performance.

Ask your child which artist inspired their T shirts which you'll see on stage next week.

Opinions are very strong and very diverse in 1MLN. Listening to your children defend their stance at such a young age is a thrill for me.
Ask your child where they think their favourite place is in Singapore , and why this is. Listen for language such as : opinion, agree, disagree, firstly, also, in addition, so to sum up, I have a different opinion because... 
Some children are also experimenting with paragraphs in their writing now.

And sometimes we just need a break and a giggle.
